SOIL : Dark, alluvial, deep soils; medium texture; silt, loamy, sandy composition; good contents of organic substances

QUANTITY PER HECTARE : 80 quintals per hectar
AGE OF VINES : 8 years

WINEMAKING : Vinification in steel tanks, skins maceration for almost 15 days at 26' C with everyday pumping. Once drained, it matures in french oak barrels at least for 6 months. Aging in bottles

TASTING NOTES :  Intense ruby red coloured wine with violet hints. Intense to the nose, spicy, with coffe notes and pronounced fragrance of wild berries, currants and black cherries. Full - flavored, it floodes the palate with a stroke and persuasive structure, reducing tannins giving a crowning balanceHARVEST : handmade harvest collected in cases during second decade of SeptemberALCOHOL :13%FOOD MATCHING : Perfect with roasted meat, cold cuts, cheeses and rich first courses. Serve at 16' - 18'C
